I have a suspicion that Nintendo removed the map icon due to fans possibly looking too far into it, with delfino canonically being in an animal-shaped group of islands from the sunshine opening cutscene. There's definitely something here, I'm just not sure -what. Looking back on this, I think this definitely needs to be discussed/investigated further, if ever this game will have it's own page. I don't see any other reason why they would need to take it off. I'm wondering if maybe it was put there as an easter egg/for consistency but people read too much into it and thought it was a playable area, so they removed it from the game. I'm just wondering if there's a specific reason why they removed the landmass from all of the in-game maps, but not from the specular map. Rouge2 I Never said it was ever going to be playable, I said there's proof it was definitely supposed to be there. If you were to datamine the game and find textures for Isle Defino then that would be proof enough. You would need more evidence to prove it was playable then just a place on the map. Making it appear on the globe does not mean it was intended to be playable. There's definite proof that Isle Delfino was supposed to be in the game, I've found a little something.
